Document Upload

Your clients don't always have a website that describes what they sell. Often the best description is a catalog, brochure, price list or product sheet sitting in your inbox. Now you can upload that document straight into Stencil. Stencil reads it, drafts goods and services from it, and finds specimens inside it, with no copying and pasting.

In any filing, click Add source and choose Business document. You can upload a PDF, JPEG or PNG of up to 200 MB. We check every file for malware before Stencil opens it.

Stencil reads every page, including scans and photos. The document card shows each step as it happens. Once it says Ready, you can open the text Stencil read and check it yourself.

Stencil drafts IDs from the document, just as it does from a website or a business description. Every ID links back to the page that supports it, so you always know where a suggestion came from.

On the Specimens tab, start a search and Stencil checks each page for the mark in use. Only pages that pass make it into your results, graded the same way as website specimens. Each one is labelled with its page number, so it's easy to find in the original.

Business document upload is available now. Open any filing, click Add source, and upload your first document.
