Many brands sell mostly through marketplaces and app stores, not their own website. Until now, Stencil only looked for specimens on the websites you gave it. With Marketplaces, Stencil can also search Amazon, Walmart, Google Shopping, Google Images, the Apple App Store and Google Play for listings that show the mark in use.
Pick the marketplaces to search
On a filing's Specimens tab, click Add source and choose Marketplaces. Turn on the marketplaces you want searched, then click Generate.
Only listings for your client's brand
Stencil searches each marketplace for the mark and keeps only listings where the brand matches. Multi-word marks are handled too, so a "Fellow Coffee" search still finds a "Fellow Stagg Kettle" listing. Each listing is captured and graded the same way as a website specimen, so it lands in your specimen results with the same confidence scoring.
Review them next to your other specimens
Marketplace specimens show up with your website specimens. A new Marketplaces section in the specimen filter lets you narrow the results to one or more marketplaces, and it only lists marketplaces that returned results. You can add marketplaces to a filing that already has results and start them with Generate at any time.
Marketplaces is live now. Open any filing's Specimens tab and click Add source. Marketplace search needs a mark with words in it, so pure design marks aren't supported yet.
