The Stencil Filing Assistant is Live!

The Stencil USPTO Filing Assistant is now live in beta.

It takes the applications you've built in Stencil and auto-populates your goods/services entries and specimens directly into the USPTO Trademark Center - reducing what used to take 50+ clicks down to 2.

How to Get Started

Install the Extension - Chrome Web Store - Stencil
Login to Stencil and the USPTO -- you do not need to use the same email
Start a new trademark application and fill out the mark details
Use the filing assistant to automatically input all entries in the G/S section
Automatically upload all specimens - date of access + URL auto-populate

You're always in control.

The assistant populates fields but never submits anything on your behalf. You can pause, go one-by-one, or cancel at any point.

What it does

Goods & Services entry: It will surface the ID you built in Stencil and automatically search each entry, select the correct match, and fill in any blanks - enter 20 terms in under a minute.
Specimen upload: Attaches all specimen files and auto-populates the date accessed and URL.
Works on the USPTO surface: The assistant opens in the corner of the Trademark Center when you're ready to start a new application.
